Great bookstore! Really the only one I go to in Rotterdam, not counting the library. They have both English and Dutch books, as well as nice souvenirs, gifts, journals, pens, games and hobby things. There is always something interesting to find. If you need a book they don’t have in stock, there is an option to order it. They delivered my book to the store in 2 days.

A huge book shop where you can find the best books in English (and Dutch). Everything is total clean and organized. It has a lot of sections, music and stationary stuff included.
The place has a lot of light and it’s spacious and quiet.
In the third floor it also has a café, so recommended. The employees are very nice and charming.
I visited it twice (in 4 days) and I would do it again, I felt in love.

I was pleasantly surprised by their extensive manga collection! Offline stores in Rotterdam usually only carry Japanese mangas, so I was thrilled to find some novels, Korean manhwa, and even Chinese manhua like MDZS.

Manga review:
There’s one or two Dutch mangas but the rest of the collection is in English. There are surprisingly few shounens and surprisingly many ecchi mangas. You won’t find many older mangas here either.
The shop itself is clearly more focused on their European comic collection which is an odd business decision when 90% of customers seem to be gathered around the manga shelves instead.
Wouldn’t be surprised if they did expand manga wise in the future.

I came in looking for a rare book on a specific topic, one that I had been looking for a few years. I asked the staff and then went off to look at the specific section. The staff later came to find me to let me know that they had also been searching for it throughout the store and had found exactly what I was searching for. Thank you!

Cozy place with a friendly staff. Found this bookshop in the article about the best places for children in Rotterdam. And I would agree with the author it’s a great place for kids and their parents. Smaller part of this shop is a cafe with 10 tables and area with toys and books for kids and another bigger part is for books. So you can drink good coffee while you child playing with others and then have lunch all together, because they also have highchairs.

This is a great children’s bookshop. It’s lively, child friendly and a great selection. I was there for a David Walliam’s book! They sold it! And the people who work there or the owner are so nice, warm, friendly, helpful and welcoming. When I want to buy a children’s book or toy, they’ve got a fine collection of these too, I’ll definitely go there!

Lovely place in Rotterdam. Has a cafe and a bookstore and a children zone. The coffee was great and the cheese sandwich was great. Staff is very kind especially appreciate they spoke to me in English after I told them I don’t speak Dutch 🙂 The wifi got interrupted multiple times, which made work a little difficult, but other than that it’s a beautiful location.

I would say a good place for children with lots of toys. Unfortunately, however, I left angry with the manager of the store as she remarked to me that I had turned up the volume of the phone quite a bit and it bothered her a lot. As it is considered an entertainment area for children and not a hospital or a library. And there is music in the store. And secondly I ordered juice for the little one and the glass was dirty. I am very sorry but this is the first and last time I have come.

Aanrader.
