De Slegte Rotterdam is a legend in the city and a heaven for book lovers. The current store may seem rather small compared to what it was but the selection is absolutely amazing. Plenty of greeting cards too! There are numerous and beautiful coffee-table large format books at bargain prices. Members of staff are always very friendly and helpful. Truly a pleasure to browse through the shop. Highly recommended!

I came in looking for a rare book on a specific topic, one that I had been looking for a few years. I asked the staff and then went off to look at the specific section. The staff later came to find me to let me know that they had also been searching for it throughout the store and had found exactly what I was searching for. Thank you!

Located in central Rotterdam, this cute 2 storey bookstore is a perfect stop for anyone that loves reading and getting lost. They have chairs and desks and feels in some ways like a library
Book Selection:
Most of the books are in Dutch but they have a fair selection of English books as well, first and second hand. They also buy second hand books
