Prachtig gebouw. Mijn vader zat hier nog op (technische) school meer dan 65 jaar geleden. Nu zijn er veel sociale projecten zo lijkt het. Geweldig!

Het Huis van de Wijk in Hillevliet is gevestigd in het gigantische gebouw van de voormalige Technische School. Er wordt druk gewerkt aan de transformatie van de school tot een multifunctioneel onderkomen voor diverse culturele activiteiten. Onder andere de SKVR en Museum Boymans op Zuid zijn spraakmakende inwoners van het pand.
